Objectives

To build on, and develop further, the experience of the design and implementation of a short programme of investigation into a chemical problem using modern experimental techniques gained in the module CHEM3650 Project Work 2M by a number of guided literature assignments.

To develop further an awareness of the nature of investigative chemistry, and the ability to interpret and present the available experimental evidence gained in the module CHEM3650 Project Work 2M.

Syllabus

Students undertake a laboratory-based project for CHEM3650.

This module is designed to allow students to extend their knowledge and expertise in their chosen area by undertaking a number of guided literature assignments.
